Scion tC Series Release 3.0 Preview – 2007 Detroit Auto Show: With the boxy Scion xB going out of production after 2007, the upstart youth brand from Toyota shifts its special edition “Series Release” to the tC sport coupe. Painted Blizzard Pearl white, dressed in a KenStyle ground effects kit and other styling mods, and equipped with two-tone Alcantara-trimmed seats, the Scion tC Series Release 3.0 arrives in mid-February for $2,580 over the base price of $16,400. Also included on each of the 2,500 examples to be produced is a 160-watt Pioneer audio system with a 35-watt six-inch subwoofer mounted under the cargo floor, and a Blizzard Pearl RAZO weighted shift knob.
