Ford is excited about the 2007 Edge, and well they should be: they’ve got the right kind of chassis, with a strong powertrain, and what looks to be a comfortable and useful interior. They think people will be excited about the exterior design of the Edge, as they claim it takes after the successful Fusion sedan, and will enjoy the six-speed transmission they claim boosts acceleration and fuel economy. Priced in the upper $20,000 range, Ford spokespeople think the Edge will make for a value proposition, no matter what trim you choose.
